DAUGHTERS OF THE NORTH
Historical Viking Fiction - Warrior Women - Action & Adventure
Across the Viking Age, women fought, commanded, survived, and carved their own paths through a brutal and changing world. Daughters of the North tells their stories.
Each novel follows a different Viking warrior woman through her own battles, ambitions, loyalties, losses, and triumphs. A slow-burning love story develops along the way, but the heart of each book belongs to the woman at its center.
Every book is a complete standalone story with its own characters, conflict, and ending. No cliffhangers. No continuing story required. Read them in order—or choose the warrior whose story calls to you.
THE JARL'S CONQUEROR
Book One of The Daughters of the North
She crossed the sea to kill him. Saving his life was never part of the plan.
For five years, Astrid has lived for one thing: vengeance.
Exiled after her father’s murder and the destruction of everything she once called home, she has spent years becoming someone strong enough to return—a warrior with a new name, a hidden past, and a blade meant for the man she believes responsible.
Jarl Ragnvald Thorsen. The Wolf of Hordaland.
But when Astrid finally reaches his lands, nothing is as she expected. The ruthless enemy she prepared to destroy is a leader fiercely loyal to his people, a warrior who meets her as an equal, and a man whose past may be tangled with hers in ways neither of them understands.
Then an ambush reveals something far more dangerous.
Someone wants Ragnvald dead. Someone knows Astrid survived. And the deeper she searches for the truth about her father’s murder, the more she uncovers a conspiracy buried beneath years of secrets, betrayal, and blood.
Now Astrid must decide how far she is willing to follow the truth—when every answer threatens the vengeance that kept her alive, and every step brings her closer to the one man she was never supposed to trust.
History. Revenge. Power. Love. A new legacy.
